We've been working for about 6 weeks (on and off) on this new song called "Hey Margarita". From the second I heard Lance play this song, I had this exact sound (that you'll hear on the final studio version) in my mind. This is one of the few times when something came out exactly, if not better than, how I heard things in my aural imagination. I thank Lance tremendously for letting me take some chances in the production of this track and thank all these amazing musicians for channeling the most amazing Tex-Mex spirit. Look for a "Making Of 'Hey Margarita'" video in the coming weeks. |
